Terms
The terms for using Gekko.
Last updated 4 November 2026
Early access
Gekko is in development and in private early access. It is provided as it is, without any warranty, and features may change or stop. These terms cover the website, the IoT dashboard and hub, the driver store and Gekko MCP. Gekko is run by Ishan; you can reach us at ishanbhemal20@gmail.com.
Your hardware
Gekko can flash firmware, write files to boards, reset them and send them commands. Check your wiring and voltages before you power anything up. Gekko tells your assistant to ask you before it changes a board, but the decision, and responsibility for what is connected, stays with you.
The IoT hub
Keep your owner key and invite links to yourself: anyone who has them can control your boards. Do not use the hub to attack, overload or abuse it or anyone else. The hub has limits on boards, controls, applications and stored data, and we may suspend an account that harms the service or other people.
The driver store
Most packages at mygekko.si/mip are open-source drivers written by other people. Each keeps its own licence, which is served with it, and is pinned to the exact upstream version we checked. The helper drivers written by Gekko are under the MIT licence.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage to hardware, lost data or indirect losses that come from using Gekko. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Privacy
How we handle data is described on the privacy page.
